Understanding Yoga Therapy
Yoga combines physical movement, breathing practices, and mindfulness — and unlike some complementary practices, it has a genuinely substantial body of research behind it specifically for mental health. NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health has reviewed research finding yoga produces a substantial beneficial effect for anxiety symptoms, based on a review of 38 studies involving over 2,000 participants. Research on yoga for depression has also found it may offer additional benefits when combined with other forms of treatment, such as therapy and medication management.
We offer yoga as a complementary part of your treatment plan — not a replacement for clinical care, but a well-supported addition to it.
Located in Phoenixville, we offer yoga sessions to individuals throughout Chester County and the greater Philadelphia region.

How Yoga Fits Into Your Treatment
Yoga sessions are offered alongside your primary clinical care — individual therapy, group therapy, and medication management — as part of our whole-person approach. Sessions are accessible for all experience levels, with a focus on how the practice supports your mental health, not on physical performance.
