Serving Radnor Township, Villanova, St. Davids, and Garrett Hill
Radnor Township covers a lot of ground, from Villanova and St. Davids through Garrett Hill and the Wayne side of the township. What those neighborhoods share is easy access to individual therapists and a real shortage of anything between weekly therapy and a hospital admission.
Our Phoenixville center is roughly 25 minutes from most of the township, typically Route 252 north or the 476 to Route 23 route. Programming runs on a daytime schedule with free on-site parking.
For anyone who would rather not add a commute to an already full week, the same Intensive Outpatient curriculum is available through our statewide virtual program, taught by the same clinicians.
Bridging the Gap Between Therapy and the Hospital
Radnor callers often describe the same sequence. Weekly therapy was working, then it stopped being enough. Maybe a medication change needs closer monitoring, maybe a hospitalization just ended, maybe symptoms escalated faster than a once-a-week appointment can track. Stepping up temporarily is not a failure of the therapy that came before it.
Partial Hospitalization gives structure across the full weekday. Intensive Outpatient preserves most of your schedule. Outpatient services catch the step back down. Group work draws on DBT, CBT, and EMDR rather than one fixed protocol, and psychiatric oversight comes from Dr. Jeffrey Simon, MD.
If you already have a therapist in the township, we would rather keep them involved than replace them. With your consent we coordinate throughout and hand care back cleanly at discharge.

Questions From Radnor Residents
- How far is Radnor from your Phoenixville center?
- About 25 minutes for most of the township, generally via Route 252 north or 476 to the Route 23 corridor. Parking is free and on site.
- Is there a virtual option?
- Yes. Our statewide virtual Intensive Outpatient Program uses the same clinicians and curriculum as the on-site program, which is a practical choice when a daily commute is not workable.
- Can you take a referral after a hospital discharge?
- Yes, and step-down from inpatient or crisis care is one of the most common ways people enter PHP or IOP. We prioritize those intakes to avoid a gap after discharge.
- Will I have to leave my current therapist?
- No. Where an existing relationship is working we coordinate with your outside therapist or prescriber during the program and return care to them afterward.
- What insurance do you take?
- Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Geisinger, Amerihealth, Ambetter, and Allied Trades, among others. Verification is free.
