The GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale)
The GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale) is a self-report questionnaire used to screen and assess the severity of generalized anxiety disorder. It consists of seven items that measure the frequency and severity of anxiety symptoms over the past two weeks. The scores range from 0-21, with higher scores indicating more severe anxiety.
