When You Need More Support Than Outpatient Care
Pennsylvania Behavioral Health provides outpatient levels of care: Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services. We do not provide inpatient or residential treatment on site.
If you or a family member is struggling significantly and needs more support, we help connect you to appropriate inpatient, residential or psychiatric hospital care. We carefully vet inpatient and residential programs before we refer to them. Placement, availability and coverage depend on the program and your situation.
For non-emergency help figuring out the right level of care, call our admissions line 24/7 at (610) 563-2752. Learn more about higher level of care referrals.
In an emergency, don't wait. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911. For a suicide or mental health crisis, call or text 988 right away.
Serving Skippack, Creamery, and Cedars
Skippack Village sits on Route 73 (Skippack Pike) between Routes 113 and 363, and much of the township around it is rural, with residents spread toward Creamery, Cedars and Lower Frederick. Structured mental health programs with psychiatry built in are not typically right around the corner here.
The Pennsylvania DCNR places Evansburg State Park between Norristown and Collegeville, along Skippack Creek. From that side of the area, the drive to us uses the same PA 29 corridor as Collegeville.
Getting Here from Skippack
From Skippack Village, take PA 113 south, turn onto Black Rock Road toward the Perkiomen, pick up PA 29, then follow PA 23 and PA 113 into Phoenixville to Kimberton Road. A mapped OpenStreetMap route from the Skippack town point is about 13.7 road miles.
Routes from Creamery or the Route 73 east side can differ. Check a live map from your own address before your first visit.
