Understanding Mental Health

Mental health conditions are common and treatable. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, approximately 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness in a given year, and the majority of people who seek treatment see meaningful improvement. Understanding your symptoms, knowing what treatment options exist, and recognizing that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness, are all important first steps.
